We show up with everything you need: fresh, in-season flowers from local farms, stylish vases, all the tools, and simple, step-by-step guidance. You and your guests each make your own custom arrangement—no floral experience needed.

Everyone leaves with a floral piece of art they made themselves and that post-event glow. It’s hands-on, joyful, and way more memorable than your typical party setup.

Owner and designer MJ draws inspiration from the natural world, working with seasonal and local blooms to create arrangements that feel fresh and alive. Costa Flora serves both individual clients and businesses, from realtors and corporate offices to storefronts and gifting programs. Whatever the occasion or setting, every arrangement is designed with the same care, creativity, and love for the natural world.

who we are

We are led by MJ—a lifelong artist, flower devotee, and Northern California native who found her way to San Diego for a job... and never looked back. Though she’ll admit she’s a not-very-good surfer, MJ fell in love with the ocean, the light, the rhythm of Southern California living—and eventually, with creating beauty that right from the table.

MJ is a new mom of a beautiful little boy, a wife, a Jesus follower, and former corporate girlie. Costa Flora was born out of a love for our natural world, an unexpected surge in creativity postpartum, and a desire to share the joy of flower arranging with groups all over San Diego.

Now, alongside her husband and their baby boy Gabriel, MJ leads each floral gathering with intention, joy, and a deep belief that beauty is best when shared.
